About

The son of a shipwright, 
still working in Douglas fir.

I grew up on the Alaskan coast watching my dad plank wooden boats. Three decades into my own craft, I pair time-honored joinery with techniques I've invented along the way — designs that are unordinary, functional, and built for generations.
